“ Bumped cause I was given a paper cup as they were 30 mins away from closing but I finished my coffee < 15 mins It’s a social enterprise so got to have a bit more understanding and grace when dining here, coffee is ok but having it in the paper cups but allowing me to use glass for water just gave me the ick ”

Visited Temasek Shophouse on its official re-opening day on 29th Sept 2025 (Monday) and came across this small kiosk cafe on the ground floor. My hubby and I had the Iced Cafe Latte & Hot Cafe Latte. ???? I asked for a single espresso shot each for our coffees, but still the coffees tasted a tad bitter. ▪︎The coffee flavour was generally good, but I wished it was less acidic and less bitter. ???? The service staff were friendly (ie the two girls manning the front counter). _______________________________________________ The kiosk itself is small but thoughtfully designed. It features a clean, minimalist counter with light wood finishes, which complements the heritage interior of Temasek Shophouse. ???? The open layout lets you watch the baristas at work, and the overall ambience feels relaxed and casual — ideal for a quick coffee stop while exploring the building. ???? Food options appear light but appealing, with baked goods like bagels, pies and wrapped crepe sandwiches displayed neatly in glass shelves. ”

“ A hidden spot along Orchard Road - pretty nice and quiet place to have a coffee. It is a social enterprise so give the baristas some grace (soy milk was a little overdone but still love it!). The coffee beans are sourced from Southeast Asia - unique and good! ”

“ Had a black. Miss their bulgogi wrap. This cozy spot offers a cup of comfort and for a good cause, supporting employment opportunities. Was able to do work there the whole day. Please share this gem with friends and those who need it. ”

“ Nice selection of quality coffee. Nice ambience as it's in a quiet space. They have free WiFi (and you don't need to ask them for a password which is handy). The barista was very helpful and polite too. They do sell some food - a small but nice selection of sweet and savory snacks, including halal pastrami and cheese croissant. Very tasty! ”

“ A social enterprise cafe located near Plaza Sing with affordable coffee and small bites. It’s a good place to study or work even on weekends (I visited around 11.30 and stayed until 4). They have free wifi, plugs, clean toilets, and most importantly they don’t chase you out. The barista was also super friendly and patient even though he had to take orders, prepare and clean everything on his own. To be fair the coffee/food isn’t exceptional, I had a skinny latte and the smoked chicken sandwich. Coffee wasn’t strong enough imo, but croissant was freshly heated, flaky and chewy so pretty pleasant to eat. ”
